About 30 students attended the inaugural panel discussion Tuesday at Pruis Hall, where students, faculty and four panelists talked about the day's events that ushered President Barack Obama into the Oval Office. The central theme to the evening was that Obama's inauguration as the first black president in United States history transcends politics.
Under-used campus buildings have caused Ball State University administrators to consider scheduling more Friday classes. Associate Provost Marilyn Buck said the administration was still investigating how often buildings were being used. She said many buildings were used for more than classrooms.
