As dramas, comedies and more take over nighttime television, the returning fall TV season has something for people of any taste. Characters range from country singers to superheroes, and some plots have the colorful air of a fairy tale while others hit on harsh realities. Alumnus remembers Ball State professor emeritus of telecommunications

When Darrell Wible, the retired professor emeritus from the Department of Telecommunications, passed away Aug. 4 at the age of 88, a distinguished page of Ball State history passed away with him. I remember him well from when I was a Ball State broadcasting student in the late 1970s.
