Dozens stood and watched helplessly as a raging inferno destroyed their homes and belongings Saturday at Thomas Apartments in downtown Muncie. Ball State University receiver Dante Love underwent a five-hour surgery that ended early Sunday morning to repair a cervical spine fracture and spinal cord injury, team physician Dr. Jay Matchett said. Matchett said Love is currently moving all four extremities.
