Muncie, IND — No. 3 seed Ball State soccer hosted No. 6 Ohio last weekend in a MAC Quarter-Final Contest.
YORKTOWN, Ind.— On Oct. 21, Wyatt Turner became the fourth runner and first freshman in Yorktown history to qualify for the state cross country meet. His success, he says, has all been down to the basics.
After every game, Delta head coach Chris Overholt speaks at the post-game huddle. Sometimes he gets to talk about the good things while other times it’s the not-so-good attributes.
Ball State has enjoyed a notable string of success against Mid-American Conference (MAC) West opponent Northern Illinois in recent seasons. In the past two campaigns, the Cardinals posted an unblemished 4-0 record over the rival Huskies and won 12 of 13 sets across that span.
Ball State cross country competed in its final meet at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. The Cardinals placed 23rd out of 32 teams, scoring a total of 641 points.

It’s the holiday season and that means it’s the season of giving back. On Dec. 3, the Muncie Southside Neighborhood Association held their veteran’s coffee club, which happens on the first Saturday of each month. This is an amazing idea and with everything veterans must deal with, it only makes sense that this should happen. Honestly, veterans get the short end of the stick when you think about it. I have witnessed hundreds of homeless veterans, whether that be in Muncie, my hometown of Richmond, Indiana or out on the West Coast in Los Angeles, California.
