Coming into the I-75 Tournament in Kennesaw, Georgia, Ball State softball was still ironing out some kinks from their first two tournaments of the season. However, multiple things fell in line for the Cardinals as they finished the event with a season-high tournament record of 3-2.

He was focused solely on the fact that the Redhawks took the win and celebrated in the Cardinals’ home arena.

In Ball State’s last two Mid-American Conference (MAC) games, 11 points have come up two different times. Against Miami (9-10, 3-4 MAC) on Saturday, Jan. 20, the Cardinals led by that number with five minutes left in the contest. However, the Redhawks rallied and stole the win in overtime.
