MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) - Drizzle with a few passing rain showers dominated most of East Central Indiana today. However, do not expect to see drastic changes to the forecast for the day on Tuesday. Tonight, expect overcast skies with temperatures dropping down to 48 degrees. We cannot rule out the possibility of some drizzle in the overnight hours. Tomorrow morning, dense patchy fog is possible. Precisioncast fog estimates visibilities to be below 5 miles before 9 a.m. After the fog and overcast skies break mid-morning expect to see some sunshine. This sunshine will allow us to warm up to a high of 70 degrees tomorrow. However, this mid-morning and afternoon heating will be enough to produce late afternoon rain and thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has placed much of central Indiana under a slight risk of severe weather. The primary threat is looking to be damaging winds. However, we can never rule out the chance of a isolated tornado or small hail. The timing of the severe weather primarily lies after 9 p.m. with the line of storms moving out of the area in the early morning hours on Wednesday.
