Tonight: Chilly night ahead in Muncie. We will be sitting at the freezing point, but outlying areas could be in the upper 20s. As you are heading out in the morning, make sure to bundle up!
Tonight: A Freeze Warning is in effect for Deleware, Madison, Randolph, and Henry counties from 4am to 9am Tuesday morning. The low in Muncie will be at 32° and outlying areas could be in the upper 20s to low 30s. Make sure to cover any plants or bring them inside. Winds will be strong tonight from the west at 10-20mph, and could feel a few degrees cooler.

Some light showers are in the area right now. We do have a Flash Flood Watch in effect from tonight until Friday morning at 5AM. Grant, Blackford, and Jay counties also have an Areal Flood Watch in effect until 2AM Thursday.
Tonight: Tonight will be mostly clear with a low of 64 degrees. Those chances for showers and thunderstorms will be sticking with us through the night as well as wind gusts starting to ramp up in the late night hours.

After severe weather moved through last night, we are getting back down to average temperatures in the next few days. We hit our high very early this morning around 3 a.m. and temperatures continued to cool throughout the day. From 24 hours ago, we are about 16 degrees cooler here in Muncie.

Mild temperatures continued throughout the day, but cold temperatures are back for the next few days.
Temperatures are currently in the mid to upper 30s, but winds are making it feel a little bit cooler. Wind Chills feel at or below the freezing level.
Winter is starting to arrive here in East Central Indiana, and the cooler temperatures are on the way! Low tonight of around 34 degrees, but winds chills below freezing for tonight and into tomorrow morning. Rain chances move into the forecast as well early tomorrow morning (6AM) into the afternoon hours. Make sure to grab a warm jacket an umbrella out the door! The rain will be moving out, along with the clouds to have partly cloudy skies on Wednesday. A major cold front will be moving through our area later this week. This will bring highs in the upper-20s and lows in the teens for Thursday and Friday. Get out the heavy coats, because winter will be arriving very soon! MUNCIE, IN (Cardinal WX) - A 5.0 magnitude earthquake hit the quiet town of Cushing, Oklahoma on Sunday, November 6th.
Happy Halloween! Highs today reached the high-50s. Spooky clear skies expected tonight with a low around 55. Record breaking temperatures come into the forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday. The high is expected to be 76 on Tuesday, where the record is 77 set back in 1999. High on Wednesday looks to be around 78, now remember on average we are normally around only 57 degrees as a high. This is very abnormal especially to start out November. Pacers play the Lakers tomorrow at 7pm at Bankers Life, expect temperatures to be in the low 70s when you arrive and the high 60s when you leave. If you are headed out to Cleveland for the World Series, expect partly cloudy skies with temperature around 70 for the first pitch. We see out next rain chance move through the area on Thursday and will most likely be in the morning hours and accumulation is anywhere between 0.06"-0.18". After this rain passes through, sunny beautidul skies for the rest of the week and into the weekend with highs in the high-50s to low-60s.
Above average temperatures will continue for Muncie and the majority of Indiana into tomorrow, with a high of 80. Expect a cold front and a low pressure system to move through our area later Wednesday evening, bring fall-like temperatures back and some rainy conditions. Highs in the mid-70s for Wednesday and then even cooler with highs in the low 60s for Thursday. A cool-spell will come for the weekend with highs only in the 50s. Saturday is the Homecoming football game for BSU. If you plan to attend, make sure to grab a coat and an umbrella as highs will only be in the 50s.
Rain showers and fall temperatures moved through Muncie this morning. Those showers pushed through to the east and brought beautiful sunny skies. Another gorgeous day in store tomorrow with highs in the low-70s. Rain showers come back into the forecast for the rest of the week and into the weekend. As these showers roll through, temperatures will only be in the low to mid-60s. If you are heading out to the Ball State football game on Saturday bring a jacket and an umbrella as we are expecting a high around 66 with rainy conditions.
