Ball State Men’s Volleyball (14-2, 6-1 MIVA) traveled to Columbus, Ohio, March 16 for a matchup with Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) rival Ohio State (4-4, 9-10 MIVA). The Cardinals and Buckeyes went to five sets, but Ball State came away with the close victory. Here are three takeaways:

Before its two week hiatus from the court, Ball State Men’s Volleyball (11-2, 5-1 MIVA) secured one more victory in its home sweep over Quincy University (3-9, 0-6 MIVA) by scores of 25-22, 25-17 and 25-19 respectively Feb. 25.
