With the above average temperatures this week, it has felt more like fall than it has winter. However, the skies have been relatively dreary for the past few days, and that is going to continue into next week. Today we've started out with dense fog around the area which will start to clear throughout the morning, allowing for peaks of sunshine to come through today. Throughout Friday though, and mainly Friday evening we will see clouds move into the area. These clouds will stick around for your Saturday, but we will make it up to 63 degrees for a high (shorts weather). Both Friday and Saturday we will see the chance for some scattered rain showers, but they will be light. Our best chance for rain will be late Sunday evening and early Monday morning as a cold front approaches our area. This weekend will feel like a typical British day! We will see a shift in high temperatures the start of final exam week. Monday will be cloudy and only make it up to 50 degrees and high temperatures will continue to drop from there, where we will eventually drop to a high of 40 degrees on Thursday (which is average for this time of year). Make sure to take advantage of any nice weather you can, and hopefully all you Ball State students do well on your final exams!

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- The past few days have been pretty odd when you look at the temperatures. El Niño is hitting us pretty hard this year, which effects the temperatures and the precipitation. Over the course of the next few days, the temperatures will remain near the 60 degree mark. Winds will stay above the 10 mph mark for the next few days. Tomorrow will be partly cloudy, but on Saturday we will have a chance of AM rain showers. These showers won't last long, but the skies will remain completely overcast afterwards. We will also have another chance of rain on Monday. So as you head to work, make sure that you grab the umbrella as you walk out the door. It seems as if after next Tuesday, the temperatures will start to drop all the way down into the 30s on Thursday. Enjoy these WAY above average temperatures!

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Temperatures will be WAY above average these next 7 days here in Muncie. Today and tomorrow, temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 50s with partly cloudy skies. Throughout the day tomorrow, clouds will be on the increase as rain will be moving into our area. Rain will be around Friday night and Saturday morning, then again on Saturday night. Both Saturday and Sunday call for highs in the lower 60s! Sunday brings Muncie a 50% chance of thunderstorms as well throughout the day. Beginning the work week on Monday, it will still be rainy with cooler temperatures. Highs for Monday and Tuesday will be in the lower 50s while temperatures will dip below 50 on Wednesday.

MUNCIE (Indiana): 53 degrees in December? Well we are starting to see a huge warm up with temperatures approaching lower to mid 60s on Saturday. However, there is also a chance that we could see some rain showers and possibly some thunderstorms.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Don't worry we will have sunshine by the afternoon! We will start off pretty cloudy and by this afternoon we will have a few breaks in the clouds allowing our temperatures to warm up to the lower 50s. The winds will be from the South Southwest around 10 to 15 mph. Tonight, clouds will remain partly cloudy with the low in the low 40s. Tomorrow there is a slight chance of rain in the afternoon with temperatures in the 50s. Tomorrow night temperatures will drop back down into the mid- 40s with mostly cloudy skies. Dry conditions for Thursday with temperatures reaching the mid-50s with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will continue to increase into the 60s by Saturday! You will need your umbrellas this weekend, because we will have our best chances of rain! Saturday with a 70% chance and Sunday with an 80% chance. Cooler temperatures for Monday with chances of rain the morning.
(12/08/15 1:36am)
We had a fantastic weekend for weather with sunny skies and warm temperatures, and although the sunshine won't be as abundant this week, we will have plenty of warm temperatures. Overnight on Monday clouds will continue to build in the area and fog will continue to develop throughout the morning, so expect to wake up to patchy dense fog on Tuesday morning. The fog will clear up Tuesday morning allowing for partly sunny skies. Wednesday the clouds will start to build back in as low pressure moves through the area, we will see a scattered rain chance for well. Thursday the sun will reappear and we will have partly sunny skies for Friday as well, but another low pressure system will start to move through on Friday evening. When we wake up on Saturday morning, expect cloudy skies ahead of a cold front associated with the low pressure. Saturday evening and into Sunday we expect the best chance for rain, around 80%. The rain will persist throughout Sunday afternoon, and Sunday evening a cold front will pass through the Muncie area. When you wake up Monday morning we will drop down to around 38 degrees, but we will see a more average high of 47 degrees.
