After being the first team to clinch a spot in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament, Ball State Women’s Basketball is now locked in at the No. 3 seed. With two games to go, Bowling Green and Ball State were in second and third place in the Mid-American Conference (MAC), respectively.

Following what was arguably its biggest game of the season on Tuesday, Ball State (20-9, 11-5 MAC) traveled to Ypsilanti, Michigan to take on Eastern Michigan (8-21, 5-11 MAC).
“They have to understand that they may not be state champions,” Lapel head coach Zach Newby said. “But they're Madison County champions, they’re sectional champions, they’re regional champions and semi-state champions.”
