Despite fewer than 72 hours of rest since its last match Saturday, head coach Max Norris never considered fatigue a factor in Ball State’s (6-2, 0-0 MAC) two-match series against Oakland (0-2, 0-0 Horizon) Tuesday and Wednesday. The Cardinals defeated the Golden Grizzlies twice, earning their sixth win of the season and fourth in the last five days.

Cardinal fans in attendance at the Muncie YMCA were not disappointed with Ball State’s (8-2, 0-0 MAC) efforts against Murray State (8-5, 0-0 Ohio Valley) Saturday. After losing the doubles point to the Racers, the Cardinals were in a tight battle all the way up to the final match, before ultimately taking the 4-3 win.

Ball State Men’s Tennis (4-3) saw its three-match winning streak come to an end Sunday at the hands of Illinois State (7-5). The match saw both teams find certain periods of success, but the Redbirds were able to edge out a 4-3 win over the Cardinals.
