Over the past five games, redshirt freshman guard Jarron Coleman has been held to five or fewer points. Ball State Men’s Basketball’s Saturday matinee against IUPUI changed the narrative for what Coleman does on offense. Coleman would score 20 of the teams’ 102 points on the afternoon, and he did it in an efficient way.

Ball State Women’s Basketball (4-3, 0-0 MAC) took a break from the cold this week and traveled down south to the Bahamas for the Hoopfest Tournament, joined by the likes of Wisconsin, Arkansas, Fordham, and Lehigh. The Cardinals went 1-1 on the tournament, grabbing a buzzer-beater win over the Mountain Hawks and falling short to the Badgers.

It was a tale of two halves for Ball State Men’s Basketball (4-3, 0-0 MAC). The Cardinals set a school record for 3-pointers made against Howard Saturday with 21. Tuesday, Ball State managed to make only 21 shots in total in a 69-62 loss to Western Illinois (2-4, 0-0 Summit).
