The Ball State University Quidditch team beat Miami University 130-90 during the annual Ball Brothers Brawl 3.0 at Morrow's Meadow Park in Yorktown. Sixteen teams from surrounding colleges participated in the tournament. Reagan Allen // DN
Sara, a rescued dog, was one of the dogs at Dogs and Donuts on Oct. 5. The event was held at the Botsford-Swinford Hall courtyard and allowed students to spend time with the dogs while enjoying free donuts. Reagan Allen // DN

The 44th annual Watermelon Bust took place on LaFollette field on Sept. 24. The event is hosted by the Delta Tau Delta and Alpha Chi Omega fraternities and all proceeds went towards victims of domestic violence and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The University Program Board hosted Fall Fest on Sept. 22 at LaFollette field. The event had caramel apples, mini pies and chili, along with ceramic pumpkins to paint, dream catcher kits and a blow up corn maze. The activities celebrated the first day of fall.

Indian Old School drummer Palmer Pickett performs at Be Here Now on Sept. 8. The band was one of three that performed to help raise money for a community book share program and raise awareness for UnKoch My Campus, a national organization that fights for transparency in how the Koch brothers' have influenced universities' education due to their donations.
