After knocking off Western Michigan in the MAC Semifinals, Ball State Soccer (14-3-3, MAC 8-2-2) faced top seed Bowing Green(15-4-2, MAC 11-1) in the MAC Championship game. After 90 minutes of regulation play and 20 minutes of overtime, penalties would decided the game. In the end, Bowling Green defeated Ball State, 1-1 (5-4 on penalties).

Ball State Soccer (13-3-2, MAC 8-2-1) defeated Buffalo (11-8, MAC 5-7) 2-1 in double overtime in the quarterfinals of the MAC tournament Sunday afternoon at Briner Sports Complex. The Cardinals won off of two goals by senior midfielder Paulo Guerrero, a goal from the penalty spot, and a game-winning free kick.

Ball State Soccer (12-3-2, MAC 8-2-1) locked up second place in the MAC standings on Thursday evening’s game against Miami (OH) (3-14-1, MAC 1-10). The Cardinals won 39 seconds into overtime, 2-1.

Ball State Soccer (11-3-2, MAC 7-2-1) hosts Miami (OH) (3-13-1, MAC 1-9) this Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Briner Sports Complex for the final regular season game. The Cardinals will then find out who their first opponent for the MAC tournament, which starts Sunday.

Ball State Soccer (11-3-2, MAC 7-2-1) won their final road game of the regular season against Eastern Michigan (8-10, MAC 3-6) on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals won 1-0 at Scicluna Field, making it six straight conference wins for the Cardinals.

Ball State Soccer (10-3-2, MAC 6-2-1) traveled to Central Michigan (6-11-0, MAC 4-5-0) on Thursday evening. The Cardinals won 2-1 in overtime after freshman forward Tatiana Mason scored the game winner to make it her fifth goal of the season.

Ball State Women’s Volleyball (12-5, 3-1 MAC) its second straight win of the weekend over Central Michigan (3-13, MAC 0-4), 3-0, to cap off a perfect 6-0 finish this weekend. Saturday night's match saw the Cardinals improve to an impressive 20-5 when facing Central Michigan at Worthen Arena.
