When sophomore music media production major Scott Chapman arrived on campus last year, he expected to find an established music scene and plenty of musicians to play with. However, he said he was disappointed at how hard it was to find bands to join.

Music For All’s Summer Symposium brings together high schoolers from across the nation to make music while building a sense of community and teaching leadership.

The city of Muncie and Ball State are working on earning a "Bicycle Friendly Community" distinction by adding bike lanes and updating the city's bicycle code for the first time since 1968.
A local Muncie man will open a new music venue this month on the city's west side.
