The newest game from developers Squanch Games, founded by the Rick & Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, is certainly not for everybody. From the brightly colored worlds that the game lets you play around in, to the constantly talking guns that will inevitably annoy some players, High on Life’s gameplay seems like it is made to divide players’ minds.

Growing up in the early 2000s, I watched a lot of Disney Channel. I lived, ate, and breathed Kim Possible, That’s So Raven, and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. One show that stood out to me was Wizards of Waverly Place. For most fans of the show, the family dynamic, magic, or romantic relationships kept them tuning in each week, but for a niche group of devoted fans—it was Harper Finkle and her unique style. Harper Finkle, while just a side character, always debuted show-stopping outfits that fully encompassed her quirky and extraordinary personality. I have always loved Harper and her sense of style , but there will always be a best and a worst. Today, I will be ranking Harper’s outfits from best to worst based on aesthetic, uniqueness, and functionality/movement.

Developers Flying Wild Hog have been on a hot streak of releasing games this year, starting back in March with Shadow Warrior 3, followed by Trek to Yomi in May. Their newest release, Evil West, is a third-person action-adventure game where the player takes control of Jesse Rentier, a stereotypical tough and gritty cowboy who comes from a long line of vampire hunters. Set in a Nikola Tesla/steampunk inspired version of the late 1800s, the game is filled with amazing setpieces and awesome weapons that will surely show anyone who is a fan of the developer’s Shadow Warrior trilogy a rootin tootin’ good time.

Created by Charles Samule Addams, this spooky family has been entertaining audiences since 1938, first as a single panel cartoon in The New Yorker, and now recently in the Netflix Show Wednesday, the Addams family has been entertaining audiences for generations. With a family growing ever so close to the hundred year mark, it can make audiences wonder, what new things can this show bring to the legacy of the Addams? With a captivating story, fun characters, and twinge of nostalgia, I’d say Wednesday could bring new fans to the family.

One of my life’s greatest regrets is not being made aware of Weyes Blood earlier in my life. Natalie Laura Mering, known as a member of her band’s collective name Weyes Blood, is one of today’s most gifted singer songwriters.

The Black Panther, played by the late Chadwick Boseman, first made his MCU appearance in the 2016 film, Captain America: Civil War, seeking vengeance for the murder of his father, King T’Chaka (John Kani). He was seen again in his 2018 solo film, Black Panther, which was a huge hit and the Black Panther became a role model for fans everywhere. A sequel was already in the works when Chadwick Boseman sadly passed away in August of 2020. Two years later, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released as a tribute to the former Black Panther and follows the journey of his sister, Princess Shuri (Letitia Wright), as she deals with her losses and takes on her role as the new protector of Wakanda.

What does a dropping chandelier, a demon barber, and a french revolution have in common? Each of them are parts of musicals featured in Orchestra Indiana’s Emens Auditorium performance of The Three Phantoms on Nov. 12th led by conductor Matthew Kramer. The orchestra is composed of a merger between Muncie Symphony and Marion Philharmonic, created in March 2022 to redefine the orchestra experience. They were accompanied by vocalists Craig Schuman, Gary Mauer, and Keith Buterbaugh, each of whom have taken the role as The Phantom on Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera.

“Fighting the battle between good and evil isn’t easy. Especially when the first monster you have to face, is the one inside yourself,” Dean Winchester(Jensen Ackles) narrating at the beginning of the episode explaining that before you can go into fighting the real monsters out there, you must be able to confront the things that were haunting you, and face them head on. If you are looking for the definitive true story of Weird Al Yankovic’s life, you are going to have to look somewhere else. If you are looking for a fun jab at music biopics, akin to 2007’s Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, then you are most certainly in the right place. Although most of the events that take place in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story are purely fictional, writer/director Eric Appel pokes fun at the tropes of the biopic nearly perfectly, while also delivering a story that could only be associated with Weird Al.
