New Monster Hunter Stories details

In the newest iteration of Capcom's Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Stories, Monster Riders will team up with what used to be their enemies to fight alongside each other.

A playable demo will be available in the next few weeks at the Tokyo Game Show from Sept. 17 through Sept. 20.

'Ace Attorney 6' details released

New details for the latest entry in the Ace Attorney series have emerged. In an interview with Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu, developers talked about the upcoming Ace Attorney 6 and announced some new information on the plot and gameplay. While the series is no stranger to odd law practices and psychic abilities, Ace Attorney 6 seems to be stepping it up a notch.

Capcom announces Resident Evil Origins Collection

Capcom announced a new collection for the Resident Evil series. The Origins Collection will include both of the HD remastered versions of Resident Evil and the upcoming Resident Evil 0 remake. The collection will be released in physical form on disk, as opposed to buying the two games separately, which is currently digital only. The company also announced that Wesker Mode will also be included on the Resident Evil 0 remaster, both on the collection and its solo digital release.

'Ace Attorney 6' announced, getting US release

Capcom recently confirmed reports that a new Ace Attorney game is in the works. Ace Attorney 6 (working title) is currently in development, and will be getting a release in the west. Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu reported that the 6th main entry in the Ace Attorney courtroom drama series was in development.

Deus Ex coming in February

According to a Square Enix press release, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be launched on February 23, 2016. The PlayStation Blog revealed further details about the game's release.

Wes Craven dead at 76

Acclaimed horror film master Wes Craven has died. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed with family sources that the 76-year-old filmmaker lost his battle with brain cancer this Sunday. Framed for such films as A Nightmare on Elm Street and Last House on the Left, Craven was also set to develop several TV projects in the coming year. New Star Wars: The Force Awakens footage

In the newest clip of the next Star Wars franchise film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Finn demonstrates his lightsaber unsheathing skills. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the seventh episode of the series.

'Street Fighter V' to add Rainbow Mika

As the list of characters joining the newest Street Fighter V game keeps getting bigger and bigger,  Capcom announced that Rainbow Mika is officially latest character to be added to the roster.

Rumor: Shovel Knight to appear in Smash Bros

Popular Nintendo fan site, Nintendo Life, is reporting that Shovel Knight will be headed to Super Smash Bros 4. Citing several "sources within the video game retail sector," the report claims that the titular hero of Yacht Club Games Shovel Knight will be available as a DLC fighter for Smash and will be available as early as next week. Yacht Club Games has been teasing a "MEGATON" announcement on its site for the past week in conjunction with its recent announcement of Shovel Knight DLC. Both Yacht Club and Nintendo will be at the upcoming PAX event to show off their newest products which has only strengthened the rumor.

Turok and Turok 2 to see rerelease

Night Dive Studios announced on August 26 that they will be releasing remastered versions of Acclaim's classic  Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. The development company specializes in restoring older games for a modern audience, its first game being a remaster of System Shock 2. Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, first released for the Nintendo 64 in 1997, is a first-person action game.
