Prepare for the Holidays with Cardinal Kitchen

Holiday Worries Gone With Help of the Campus Food Pantry

 SPONSORED

The holidays are right around the corner and Cardinal Kitchen is dedicated to fighting food insecurity on Ball States’ campus. During this year’s holidays, our family here at Cardinal Kitchen wants you to enjoy the season without worry.

We are a student-run food pantry on Ball States’ campus to help students, staff and faculty get the items they need at no cost. We provide a safe space where the Ball State community can get fresh food, non-perishable food and personal care items for free. Some of our non-perishable include canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, ramen, peanut butter, canned protein, nuts, personal care items and more. We also offer fresh fruit and vegetables (while supplies last).

Students can use our food pantry, no questions asked. All we require is that you bring your valid Ball State ID, all the information is kept confidential. If you have dependents or roommates, let us know and we will make sure you go home with enough food!

We are located in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center (in the basement) room L-26. We are open this month on Nov. 16, 23 and 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Emergency openings in December can be coordinated by emailing us.

Anyone can take part in helping the community by donating your time and non-perishable items to us. For more information on how to donate and volunteer with us, send us an email (cardkitch@bsu.edu).
