Snow 'sticking' around

Tonight: A small disturbance is beginning to move into the area bringing snow flurries and isolated snow showers. Further south, Winter Weather Advisories are in place; however, our viewing area is right on the boundary between the moist and dry air, as a result, most of us won't see totals over 1 inch. Temperatures will drop into the mid-teens for the low, and winds will be relatively light from the NE.

Tomorrow: Snow will mostly have moved out of the area by 9 am. If you're traveling early, be cautious of slick spots left on untreated roads. Otherwise, the day will be pretty mild. Clouds will begin to disperse by the afternoon with the sun attempting to peak out. The high will rise into the mid-20s with winds from the N at 5-10 mph. It is a nice break before our next weather maker coming Wednesday night.

7-Day: Most of the work week will see temperatures in the low to mid-20s with lots of clouds in the mix. Wednesday night could bring an inch or so of snow, but we will have more information on this system once it moves closer. Friday brings the potential of another arctic blast with highs in the teens and lows in the single digits. We might see some lows drop below 0. Valentine's Day is looking to be brought in with snow and very cold temperatures. If you're making plans, you may want to consider something warm!
