Tonight: Winter sure has settled in across Central Indiana, with our first big snow event in the books, followed by very cold temperatures. A recap of snowfall totals from yesterday from the NWS Indianapolis can be found here: https://www.weather.gov/ind/nov11122019snowandcold. The bitter cold is expected to continue tonight, with lows dropping into the single digits and wind chills falling below zero for many locations. Be sure to take some precautions to prevent your outdoor pipes from potentially freezing before you go to bed tonight.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy skies with continued cold temperatures are expected on Wednesday. Highs will be around 30 degrees with lows around 20. Winds will be gusty out of the south, keeping the wind chill factor in the teens.

7-Day Forecast: A nice warming trend is observed on the seven-day forecast, with little chances for rain or snow. There could be some snow showers late Wednesday night into Thursday morning, especially in northern portions of the viewing area. These snow showers will be isolated in nature and very hit or miss. Plenty of sunshine is expected on Friday into the early part of the weekend before more clouds move in early next week.
