As National Signing Day approaches, the "NeuEra" hashtag has become popular among Ball State football coaches.

The Ball State football coaching staff will host a free Signing Day event on Feb. 3 in Worthen Arena, inside the Cardinal Club Room.

While the official list of signings has not been announced, Ball State football coaches have made their excitement known through Twitter.

Several mentions have come from offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Joey Lynch.

Even Neu’s newest members of the coaching staff are ready to welcome the recruits to the Ball State football roster. For the first time since 2012, former Indianapolis Colts lineman (2009-12) Kyle DeVan is back full-time in Indiana.

Louisiana native and linebackers coach Johnny Curtis has made his presence known after coming to Ball State after his 19-year campaign with John Curtis Christian high school.

Some mid-year players have been announced by Ball State Athletics, all three of which are defensive lineman.

Freshman Chris Crumb arrives from Olentangy High School in Ohio, while Reggie McGee (Baltimore, Md.) and John Swisher (Des Moines, Iowa) are junior transfers.

The signing day event is open to the public at 5 p.m. on Feb. 3 and will feature a few new hashtags, '#B1RDGAN6' and '#NationalSigningDay,' which will be the two featured throughout the festivities.
