Jeremiah Davis III |
Incoming men’s basketball transfer Jeremiah Davis III has been granted an additional year of college eligibility.
The American Athletic Conference granted the University of Cincinnati transfer the extra year, for the 2015-16 season, because of a wrist injury that sidelined him for almost the entire 2012-13 season.
Davis, who played at Muncie Central High School, transferred to Ball State to be closer to his family after a fire ruined their home in November.
The 6-foot-3 guard will be a fourth year junior when the Cardinals’ begin the 2014-15 schedule. The NCAA granted a request that allows him to play in the upcoming season, waiving the one-year residency requirement for transfer students.
