WEST LAFAYETTE — State police say all lanes of three northern Indiana highways have reopened following crashes that occurred as lake-effect snow swirled across the area.
One northbound lane of Interstate 65 had been closed in White County north of Lafayette following a Wednesday morning crash in which a semi-trailer went out of control and crossed the median, striking an SUV head on and causing injuries.
State police reopened that lane Wednesday afternoon.
Further north, sections of the Indiana Toll Road and Interstate 94 have reopened in Porter and LaPorte counties following other accidents. The toll road's westbound lanes had been closed at Portage after a semi rolled over.
