Former White House offical to speak on campus

A former White House official will be on campus Tuesday as part of a Miller College of Business lecture series.

James Capretta, former associate director at the White House Office of Management and Budget, will talk about "Understanding the Policy and Politics of Health Care Reform" for the Neil Palomba Lecture Series.

Capretta is a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and served as an associate director at the OMB from 2001 to 2004, where he was the top budget official for health care, Social Security, education and welfare programs.

Proof of attendance will be available and credit toward the Miller College of Business Advanced Professionalism Certificate will be given to those who attend.

Capretta will speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Teachers College Room 101.
