The Ball State University track team completed the first day of the Meyo Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame on Friday.
Three Cardinals made appearances on the scoreboard, highlighted by Thekla Lorenz, who placed eighth in the long jump with 5.83-meter jump.
Vanessa Gilbert placed 17th in the 5000-meter run (17:52.59) and Tyra Schantz placed 29th in the weight throw (14.87 meters) to round out the Ball State contingent.
