Firefighters respond to false alarm at LaFollette

Firefighters were called to Brayton/Clevenger halls in LaFollette Complex about noon today in response to a fire alarm.

Students who were in the building were evacuated and accounted for by residence assistants outside the building.

After more than 30 minutes, students were allowed to reenter the residence hall.

A firefighter on the scene said an alarm malfunction was responsible for the false alarm.
