Ball State University's men's basketball team dropped its third straight game after losing 71-58 Saturday against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.
Forward Anthony Newell led the Cardinals with 17 points and six rebounds.
Eastern Kentucky forward Josh Taylor led the team with 16 points and five rebounds.
The Cardinals shot 22 of 52 from the floor. Ball State looks to end its skid when they face Presbyterian Blue Hose at home on Dec. 21.
