Friday Night Filmworks:
Tonight Friday Night Filmworks will present "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian." The 2008 sequel of the first film adaptation of the popular fantasy book series created by C.S. Lewis, "Prince Caspian" follows the four Pevensie children on their return to the magical world of Narnia to join forces with Prince Caspian. The movie stars Ben Barnes, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley. Most reviews of "Prince Caspian" noted its much darker premise when comparing it to the first film, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." The film received high acclaim and made $417.5 million at the box office worldwide. "Prince Caspian" will start at 9 p.m. at Pruis. Students get in free with their IDs and guests will be charged one dollar.
Free Friday Night Movie:
Downtown Muncie will present "Enchanted" tonight as its Free Friday Night Movie series continues. Disney's innovative "Enchanted" mixes legendary computer-generated imaging animation with live acting in modern-day New York when Giselle, a beautiful cartoon princess, is sent to the reality of the tough city of Manhattan after being banished by an evil queen. After almost 10 years of development, "Enchanted" was finally released in 2007 and stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Susan Sarandon, James Marsden and Idina Menzel. The film received major praise, specifically for leading lady Amy Adams whose performance garnered a Golden Globe nomination. The film went on to make $340 million worldwide. "Enchanted" will be showing at the 400 block of South Walnut Street, and showtime will be at dusk.
