Julie Harder continues to lead the women's golf team. After winning the Butler Invitational last week, the junior was the team's top scorer at the William & Mary Invitational this weekend.
Her scores of 76 and 77 were good enough for an eighth-place finish and helped Ball State finish fifth overall in the event.
After the first round, the Cardinals were in a three-way tie for fifth place with their score of 322. The team then shot a season low 318 on Sunday, but remained in a tie for fifth place with the College of William and Mary.
Katie Sundberg and Carmen Bodine also had individual finishes within the top 25. Sundberg placed rounds of 82 and 76 to tie for 16th and Bodine posted an 81 each round to finish in a tie for 24th.
Amber Uphaus and Chelsie Flannery rounded out the field. Uphaus posted rounds of 83 and 84 to put her in a tie for 45th and Flannery put up an 88 and 86, which was good enough for 67th.
