Troupe to show off song, improvisation

Members of Absolunacy will bring their usual blend of improvisational games and songs to Pruis Hall Saturday night.

Absolunacy relies on audience participation to create the direction for the show's games.

In past performances, the group has played such games such as "Freeze and Replace," "Do Run Run," "Paper in Pockets," and "Pillars."

Many of the games are similar to those seen on the improvisational television show, "Whose Line is it Anyway?"

Absolunatics, however, said the audience should never know what to expect from one of its shows.

"You really can expect anything," sophomore member Ryan Gilmour said. "We can't even be sure of what's going to happen."

This will be the troupe's second Pruis show this semester. Members are hoping for the next show they will have Absolunancy patches for fans with their logo, a one-eyed smiley face.

"We care a lot about our fans and want to give them a good show, to put on the best show that we can," Gilmour said.

The show begins at 8 p.m. in Pruis Hall and admission is $2.
