Today: Today will be an average February day with a high of 41 degrees. While it will be cloudy this morning, it should be a sunny day as we approach the evening.
Tonight: We have had a few days of warmer temperatures but tonight that is going to change! Temperatures are going to drop to 33 degrees F due to cooler winds coming in from the west. Those high winds from today are going to continue into later this evening but will start to decrease after midnight tonight. By 2AM winds should be below 20 mph here in Muncie!
Tonight: Rain Showers are moving into the viewing area from the south. We will be seeing these showers through out the night and some downpours will be very heavy. Our low temperature will be 44 and temperatures will actually rise as the night pushes on.
Windy Conditions Thursday: A High Wind Watch has been issued for all of east-central Indiana. This watch is in effect from 7 AM and lasts until 7 PM Thursday. We will see winds from 20-30 mph with wind gusts as high as 60 mph at times. Have loose items secured. Power outages may be possible as well. Be sure to stay weather aware on Thursday.

(AP) — Tens of millions of Americans endured bone-chilling temperatures, blizzard conditions, power outages and canceled holiday gatherings Friday from a winter storm that forecasters said was nearly unprecedented in its scope, exposing about 60% of the U.S. population to some sort of winter weather advisory or warning.
Concerns about illness or inflation aren’t stopping Americans from hitting the roads and airports this holiday season. But a massive winter storm might.
