Ball State President Geoffrey Mearns will conduct his final informal campus walks Tuesday.

At 2 p.m., he and his wife Jennifer will visit several areas throughout the day including Burris Laboratory School, Center for Peace and Conflict Studies, Elliot Hall and dining, Environmental Health and Safety Office, Indiana Academy, L.A. Pittenger Student Center, Multicultural Center, Office of Immersive Learning, Public Safety and Wagoner Complex.

Since Mearns became president in 2017, he and his transition team have planned these informal visits across campus to allow him to become better acquainted with the campus and community.

In an Aug. 20, 2018, Daily News article, Mearns said these informal visits were one his proudest accomplishments so far.
