Daily News recognized by Columbia Scholastic Press Association

The Ball State Daily News recently won 51 Gold Circle Awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. These included top awards for page design, news and feature packages and photography.

The international association, based at Columbia University, judged entries produced during the 2016-17 academic year. 

Judges cited a total of 1,080 winners for either first, second or third place or for Certificates of Merit for those deemed worthy of honorable mention in a category, according to CSPA. The Daily News received 20 Certificates of Merit in addition to top place awards.
