Cold night ahead

Tonight: A Freeze Warning is in effect for Deleware, Madison, Randolph, and Henry counties from 4am to 9am Tuesday morning. The low in Muncie will be at 32° and outlying areas could be in the upper 20s to low 30s.  Make sure to cover any plants or bring them inside. Winds will be strong tonight from the west at 10-20mph, and could feel a few degrees cooler.

Halloween: Grab the jacket, scarf, and gloves out the door tomorrow! Temperatures will be in the mid-30s for the morning commute. Temperatures are still staying below average in Muncie with a high of 44° with mostly sunny skies. Winds will continue to be strong as well from the west at 10-20mph. Halloween looks dry, but make sure to bundle the kids up for Trick or Treating!

7-Day Forecast: Wednesday during the day will still be chilly, but dry. A system starts to move into East Central Indiana bringing rain Wednesday night. After this front moves east, it stays just south of us keeping rain in the forecast until Saturday. Expect temperatures to gradually warm throughout the week. This could make thunderstorms possible for the end of the week and into the weekend.
