A roller coaster week ahead

Today: It is a cloudy and gloomy day across Central Indiana, with high temperatures only rising into the mid-60s.  This is definitely a shock to the system after the beautiful sunny and warm days we experienced early this week.

Tonight: Grab the jacket as you head out tonight.  Just a slight chance for an isolated shower overnight, with lows around 50 degrees.

Tomorrow: A very similar story to today.  With the overcast skies, temperatures will once again struggle to rise above the mid-60s.  There is still a low chance of a shower in the afternoon.

Rainfall: Amounts will be very low over the next two days.  Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Weekend Forecast: Bring out the shorts again for the weekend; summer-like weather will briefly return!  Saturday will feature party cloudy skies, with some areas making it over 80 degrees!  Sunday marks the return of rain and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon in association with a cold front.  Highs will top out in the middle 70s ahead of the front.

7-Day Forecast:  Buckle up for a roller coaster forecast over the next seven days! Cloudy and cool for the rest of this week, with warmer conditions returning over the weekend.  A big pattern shift occurs after the cold front passes on Sunday, as things turn much cooler next week.  It is possible some areas stay in the 50s during the daytime toward the middle of next week.
