Indiana governor 'stoked' to unveil list of roads projects - July 14, 2017

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb said on Thursday that he was “incredibly stoked” to announce a $4.7 billion list of infrastructure projects across the state that will get funding over the next five years. 

Holcomb and the GOP-dominated Legislature made raising taxes to pay for infrastructure projects a top priority this year.   ... Read more.

Delaware County Fair hosts 4-H Dog Show - July 14, 2017

After asking if everyone understood the rules, Judge Dawn Williams’ question was answered with a confident bark from a spaniel.

The 4-H Dog Show was hosted in the show arena at the Delaware County Fairgrounds yesterday. There were 10 pairs of dogs and owners competing in five different divisions of obedience, 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B and 3B, and three also competed in the intermediate division of showmanship. . ... Read more.

A workshop that has helped the careers of many authors will soon return to Ball State for its 44th year.
