Escaping Islamic State group: Ball State professor hears from relatives back home - May 26, 2017

Excise officers arrest, cite almost 200 on 245 charges at the Indy 500 - May 29, 2017

Indiana State Excise Police Officers made numerous arrests and issued several citations this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Officers issued citations or arrested 15 juveniles, 139 minors and 40 adults on 245 preliminary charges. ... Read more.

30-day closure of I-69 exit to McGalliard Road to start - May 30, 2017

Construction contractors plan to begin a 30-day closure of the northbound Interstate 69 Exit 241 ramp to State Road 332/McGalliard road at midnight, according to a news release.

The $1.7 million bridge construction project will modify concrete overlays to the bridge decks, seal bridge joints and repair various concrete bridge components in an effort to "protect and extend the life of each structure." ... Read more.

Ball State student to perform for Summer Stock Stage - May 31, 2017

Matthew Conwell, a junior musical theatre major, has been acting since he was 6 years old and this Thursday he will be performing as a professional in Summer Stock Stage ECLIPSE's production of “Spring Awakening.”

“My parents took me to see the annual production of ‘A Christmas Carol’ at the Indiana Repertory Theatre in downtown Indianapolis and I vividly remember looking up at them and saying, ‘I want to do that,’” Conwell said. ... Read more.

Former Ball State basketball player released by Chicago Bears - June 1, 2017

Franko House, former Ball State basketball player, was released by the Chicago Bears according to a press release sent out by the organization.
