This article will give you a look into the best of the best when comparing price and quality on everything you need for your eye makeup.

Eye Shadow Primer: NYX Eyeshadow base $6.99: Eyeshadow primer is not necessary but trust me when I say it helps. It keeps your shadows from creasing, enhances the color and keeps it on the lid, preventing fall out. The NYX primer does that and isn't too sticky.

Eye Shadow Palette: Elf Mad for Matte $10.00: Yes, this palette is all matte shades but you can create endless looks. The formula is creamy and there are 10 different shades. It's easy to buy a few cheap shimmer shades to go along with your foundation of mattes.

Mascara: Any Cover Girl Mascara from $6.00-$11.00: Cover Girl has amazing mascaras and I always go back to them. I have tried many high-end and drugstore mascaras, and I always go back to the Super Sizer. The formula never flakes nor smudges and always delivers what it claims. They have a mascara for all types of lashes and they are always coming out with more. When you have to throw out your mascara every three months, why spend more than $10 on it?

Eyeliner: NYX Tres Jolie Gel Pencil Liner $11.99: This eyeliner does not budge. Once you put it on, it's there for good. Yes, even through sweat and tears. The color payoff is great and you can wear it on top and bottom. It comes with a sharpener at the bottom which makes it really worth the money. The downside is that there are only two colors, but I have hope that more will make their way onto the shelves.

False Lashes: Any Ardell Lashes $3.99-$5.99: If you are a fan of false lashes or need some for a night out, Ardell has got you. They have so many different types, all for a good price. They are comfortable and if you take care of them, they can last for quite a while. I have worn my pair about six different times.

Pro Tip: Ulta is the best place to buy drugstore makeup. Nearly every week, drugstore brands are buy one get one 50 percent off, or even free. Every week they have a $3.50 off $15 coupon. They also have the best rewards program around. Your points actually equal money off your purchases.
