Muncie, IN (NewsLink Indiana) --

Today:

Today started off with Sunny skies, but Clouds and Snow Showers will move into the Muncie area this afternoon from southern Michigan and Northern Indiana. Current thinking is that we will receive only a dusting, should a snow shower enter the viewing area. Snow showers will taper off in the overnight hours in our viewing area, but some snow banding is expected to our northwest. Temperatures will remain below-average for today, with a high of 30 degrees this afternoon. With winds nearing 20mph, expect that wind chill value to be around the 10-15 degree mark for most of the day.

Tonight:

Tonight we will start off with clearing skies, some snow showers could stick around, but mostly to our northwest. We should clear out as the night goes on, resulting in mostly clear skies to start off the morning tomorrow. Winds will calm overnight as well, but temperatures will still bottom out around the 20 degree mark.

Tomorrow:

Don't let the sun fool you tomorrow morning - we'll start off at our lowest temperature in the forecast - 18 degrees at 8AM with mostly sunny skies - so make sure to grab your winter coats and gloves as you're heading out to work or class. Clouds will move in, and a small snow shower or two will be in the area tomorrow afternoon. Again, no major accumulation is expected, but we may find ourselves with a dusting again tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly warmer than today, but the warm-up is nothing compared to what we have in store for us in the 7-day forecast.

7-Day:

Taking a quick look at the 7-day forecast, we'll have a bried warm-up to end the week, but rain on Friday will drop the temps briefly for Saturday and Sunday. We'll have a nice start to the work week next week with a high of 54, which is much closer to our average temperatures for this time of year when compared to the last week.
