Ball State women's basketball hosts Bowling Green State Feb. 8.

Ball State (16-7, 9-2 MAC) is currently second in the Mid-American Conference West Division, a half-game behind Northern Illinois (16-6, 9-1 MAC).

The Cardinals won the last matchup against the Falcons 75-53 Jan. 21. Senior center Renee Bennett leads Ball State with 16.8 points per game, and became the 26th player in program history to score 1,000 career points in that last game against the Bowling Green.

The Cardinals score 74.7 points per game (third MAC) and shoot 45.0 percent from the floor (second MAC), while the Falcons only score 63.5 points per game behind the lowest shooting percentage in the MAC (35.0 percent). In the last matchup, Ball State also blocked nine shots.

Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 8 at Worthen Arena.
