Students woke up to painted "resist" graffiti around Ball State's campus Friday morning.
It's currently unknown who is responsible, and paint was still wet to the touch around 10 a.m. The Daily News confirmed the "resist" paint near the University Green, outside of the Cooper Science Complex, outside of the Architecture Building and outside of the Art and Journalism Building.
Just after 12 p.m., university facilities workers began pressure washing the paint off of campus buildings.
According to Section V in the university's Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities, students found to have committed or attempted to commit vandalism are subject to disciplinary sanctions.
University spokesperson Lisa Renze-Rhodes confirmed that the University Police Department is currently investigating the matter.
