The 2016 Football Homecoming is coming up and students all over campus are excited to cheer on the Cardinals Oct. 22. The Cardinals taking home a win would be amazing, but rocking your Homecoming game outfit would be a touchdown waiting to happen. To take home the win for this year's Homecoming, you can add several things to your outfit.
- Rock the ripped jeans.
- Ripped jeans can be considered so last year when it comes to fashion, but with the resurgence of the distressed fashion trend, wearing distressed jeans is coming back on the fashion scene. Wearing a pair of dark skinny jeans with just a little bit of distressing involved can really make your favorite Ball State jersey or T-shirt stand out. If you chose a light-colored shirt, it’s smart to go with a dark pair of distressed jeans for contrast.
- Don’t be afraid to wear the cute face paint.
- You may not seem entirely cool if you wear a whole bunch of face paint on game day, but just a little bit can add a cute accessory to your outfit. For example, adding a small #chirpchirp or even putting some war paint lines on your face can make you stand out in the stands and maybe even stand out on the field. You don’t have to go all out with your face paint, because it may distract from your outfit. However, adding a little bit to your overall makeup can make you look sportier than ever.
- Add a casual sneaker or shoe.
- When choosing the final touch for your Homecoming game outfit, it’s crucial that the right shoe is picked. Never go with a loud statement shoe when it comes to getting your outfit right. If you do, it will most likely take away from the rest of your red and white outfit. The best shoes to wear with any Homecoming outfit are a simple Converse or Vans sneaker. However, don’t pick crazy colors of these shoes. Some perfect colors can include black, gray and even white. These shoes are classics and can go with any outfit easily and will just add a more athletic look to your game day outfit.
Adding together these pieces when putting together the perfect Homecoming outfit will definitely add to an amazing game day for the Cardinals and you. It’s OK to pass on some of these fashion tips for your Homecoming outfit.
