Temperatures will finally drop for next week

<p></p>

It's the second day of Fall, but it sure does not feel like it out there with temperatures skyrocketing into the upper 80s.  Today's high is expected to reach 88 degrees, which is close to the record high temperature of 90 degrees set back in 1970.  Our first chance for some rain and thunderstorms will come Monday for the start of the work week.  Temperatures will begin to fall as well as an upper level trough will move eastward bringing our area more cooler and drier temperatures.  Highs for next week are not looking to exceed the mid-70s.  Fall-like weather is coming!
