Cool down is on the way.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Warmer temperatures are going to stick around for the next few days as a dome of high pressure is locked over our area. Thursday and Friday temperatures are going to remain in the mid to upper 80s with plenty of sun in the sky. Saturday and Sunday we will see temperatures drop a bit and a few more clouds will begin to work their way in. This cloud cover is ahead of a cold front that is going to begin to make its way through our area on Sunday night. This will bring us a rain chance for Sunday night, but the best chance for rain and a few thunderstorms is going to be in place throughout the day on Monday. The rain and thunderstorm chance is going to hang around on Tuesday, with the best chance coming in the morning hours and through the early afternoon. Fortunately for us, we will get a break from the warm temperatures starting Monday, when temperatures will be in the mid 70s and Tuesday's high temperature will be near 70 degrees. Wednesday that sunshine will return with temperatures hanging out in the mid 70s. For more weather updates follow us on Twitter @NLIWeather
