DIY: Dorm decor

Still wondering how you'll decorate your dorm? Here are some do-it-yourself ideas that are fun and functional.

Popsicle Shelf

What you need:

  • Popsicles
  • Hot glue gun
  • Paper
  • Writing utensil

1. Trace on two pieces of paper the shape that you want your shelf to be.

2. Start by place down half of the popsicles that you will need to complete the shape.

3. Using a glue gun, make dots on each end of the popsicle stick. Place another popsicle on top to connect the popsicle sticks. Continue the process until you’ve connected them all.

4. If you want to make another shelf, then do the same process of alternating sides to make the shelf.

Reusable Calendar

What you need:

  • Frame

  • White and colored paper
  • Writing utensil

4. Put the white paper back inside the frame.
