Cardinals to play Iowa in WNIT

The Cardinals are led by senior guard Nathalie Fontaine, the program's career-scoring leader and the MAC Player of the Year. She is second in the MAC with both 20.7 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game.

Three other Cardinals also average more than 10 points per game -- sophomore forward Moriah Monaco (10.9), junior guard Jill Morrison (10.4) and junior center Renee Bennett (10.1).

Iowa finished tied for ninth in the Big Ten. Three Hawkeyes also average more than 10 points per game and five rebounds per game — junior guard Ally Disterhoft (17.1 ppg, 5.4 rpg), sophomore forward Chase Coley (11.2 ppg, 5.8 rpg) and freshman forward Megan Mustafson (10.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg)

Ball State is playing in its fourth-consecutive WNIT after finishing second in the MAC West Division.
