The last time these two teams met was on Feb. 20 at Worthen Arena, where Ball State fell to the visiting Central Michigan, 74-65. Head coach Brady Sallee said it was due to a lack of energy from his team.

This time around, he will look to see more energy from his team, as the two teams sit atop the MAC West Division.

Central Michigan leads the MAC in scoring average with 75 points per game, but is 8th in ppg allowed with 66.8. Ball State is 5th in MAC in ppg with 69.6 and 3rd in ppg defense with 60.6 ppg allowed.

Beyond the close stat lines, Central Michigan has three players averaging over 10 points per game with the highest being 14.0. Ball State also has three players averaging over 10 points per game, but their highest scorer, senior forward Nathalie Fontaine, is averaging 21.2 points per game.

Tip-off for the game begins at 7 p.m. in Mount Pleasant.
