The founder of Papa John's and 1983 alum, John Schnatter, gave the commencement speech at Ball State's 2015 graduation ceremony on May 2. This was President Paul W. Ferguson's first Ball State commencement. The university awarded an honorary doctorate to Schnatter during the ceremony.
