Ball State football senior running back Jahwan Edwards has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week following the team's 41-24 win over Bowling Green Friday.

Edwards reached a new season-high in rushing in the win, posting 165 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries. This was Edwards' sixth 100-yard rushing performance of the season.

Ball State's win over MAC East champion Bowling Green was the last game of Edwards's career at Ball State. He finished with 18 career games of 100 or more rushing yards and broke almost every career Ball State rushing record.

The Cardinals finished the season at 5-7 (4-4).
