Excise officers arrest 20 over weekend

Indiana Excise officers ticketed or arrested 20 people over the weekend in Muncie.

Nine people were given tickets for illegal possession or consumption of alcohol, according to a press release. Officers issued another nine tickets for various infractions.

Around 2 a.m. Sept. 28, Dauntez L. Wilson, 19, was arrested and charged with consumption of alcohol, resisting arrest, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Excise officers were working with Ball State and Muncie officers when they encountered Wilson.
